New homepage design (the one you see when you are NOT logged in) - any thoughts?

We just re-designed the SwapSimple homepage. What we wanted to do was give a bit more info regarding what makes SwapSimple so different from other trading sites, and also wanted to make the page smaller, so that you didn't need to scroll way down to have to read the whole thing.

If you have any comments, please let us know. Your feedback is the most important thing to us.

Kudos for a smaller page. How about squishing in member login on the home page?

    Thanks for the feedback!

The idea behind the extra login page was that we wanted a place to add extra info _before_ login if need be. We're adding a bunch of new features, like several Facebook integration features, and we need to pass info along BEFORE you log in.

It's just nice to have extra space to do things with, but I understand that it's kinda annoying to have to click the extra link just to login.

I think I'm stickin' by my guns on this one though ;-)

We never announced the release of this feature a few weeks ago, but we actually have the feature you want. If you click on the "browse" tab, you will see that all the items are listed by "posted date."

The initial list you see, when you click the "browse" tab, is a list of all items on the site (books, dvds, and vgames) listed by date posted. You can then use the options to the left of the list to pear the browse results down, limiting the results to only certain item types, sort by title, etc.

Hope this helps - please let me know how you like it.

Thanks for the feedback - keep it coming!!
